Ride the Revolution
Yamaha is a company that thrives on creativity, always looking toward the future in the quest to develop original, exciting technology and radical new concepts. The launch of the NIKEN GT, with its innovative Leaning Multi-Wheel technology, demonstrates the company's commitment to innovation.
The NIKEN GT is built to deliver the most amazing corner carving experience together with higher rider confidence in all conditions. With a larger contact patch between the tires and the road surface, the two leaning front wheels give increased levels of front end grip that is particularly noticeable during cornering and braking, and it is this unique and dynamic characteristic of the NIKEN that makes it feel and handle like no other motorcycle.
R World is Calling
Yamaha introduces the new 2019 YZF-R3, boasting next-generation R-series styling and updated handling to bring it more in line with its supersport stablemates.
Whether you're tackling crosstown traffic or a twisty road, the R3 is perfect for new riders who want a sporty machine that's also rider-friendly.
Powering the R3 is a 320 cc, DOHC, parallel twin featuring a 4-valve cylinder head, 32 mm throttle body fuel injection and 6-speed transmission. Dig a bit deeper and you will find many of the high tech features found in our R6 power plant inside this engine too.
With an all-new engine, new frame, new bodywork, electric start, Power Tuner app and more, the 2019 YZ250F is ready to roost the competition with features never before seen in the 250 cc class. An updated cylinder head, piston, cam profiles, cylinder geometry and much more work together to give YZ250F riders the best balance of high-rpm power with a broad, useable powerband.
Yamaha broke new ground when the Power Tuner app was introduced on the 2018 YZ450F, putting flexibility and precision tunability into your smartphone. This technology carries over to the 2019 YZ250F, allowing riders to make fueling and ignition timing changes instantly and upload them to the bike via the onboard Wi-Fi system. It's the ultimate in trackside tuning!
